Description

Turlock Junior High School gives seventh and eighth grade students a strong academic foundation while offering distinctive opportunities to explore STEM, leadership, and personal interests. Its STEM Pathway integrates English, mathematics, science, history, and hands on STEM electives, while additional offerings include Project Lead The Way, STEM Shop, and computer science. Students can also pursue Honors and GATE English Language Arts and choose from a broad range of exploratory electives. More than twenty one clubs, athletics, music, student government, tutoring, and intramural sports provide many ways for students to connect and contribute. Recognition as both a California School to Watch and a National School to Watch reflects the schools commitment to strong middle level practices. Turlock Junior High School is a lively Bulldog community where students can discover their strengths and prepare confidently for the future.
