Description
Elizabeth Pinkerton Middle School pairs strong academics with a thoughtful 4x4 block schedule that keeps students connected through weekly Advocacy on Mondays and Wolfpack Time on Wednesdays for intervention and support. Students take Humanities for the full year, plus Math, Bridge, Science, PE, and an elective rotation that includes robotics, media literacy, computer technology, public speaking, digital photography, astronomy, ceramics, theater arts, band, orchestra, AVID, yearbook, leadership, and exploring science. Essential Skills assessments drive reteaching and retesting during Wolfpack, supported by weekly PLC collaboration and shared team structures where teachers loop with students from seventh to eighth grade. Multilanguage learners receive Intensive English and academic writing electives, plus designated ELD that builds discussion, description, and debate skills. A lively culture grows through Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, student leadership rallies, clubs, athletics, and library spaces built for reading, games, and creativity. Families can feel confident knowing students are known well and challenged daily.
