Description
San Gorgonio Middle School builds a strong middle grades experience around a rotating 6 period schedule with homeroom that features AVID strategies, Character Strong SEL, and student goal setting. A dedicated Care Team and MTSS Team use monthly data reviews to match supports like Corrective Reading, Seminar for incoming 6th graders, Homework Club, flexible teacher tutoring, Saturday academic support, and a Learning Center model for more intensive skill building. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports anchors a Safe, Respectful, Responsible culture with the Hurricane Store and restorative practices. Students connect through the House System, ASB leadership, and The Amazing Shake, while exploring electives like Robotics, Computer Science, Band, Speech and Debate, SeaPerch, and CTE pathways in Medical Arts and Digital Arts.
