Description

Dartmouth Middle School delivers a strong middle grades program built on a 6 period day and Eagle Time advisory that meets four days a week for goal setting, mentoring, peer support, and Second Step social emotional lessons. Students take yearlong core courses in English language arts, math, science, and social science, with advanced math options in 7th and 8th grade, plus electives like Band and Leadership. Targeted support includes 6th grade math and ELA intervention starting in quarter two, an After School Academy for 7th and 8th grade, and a Homework Center three days a week. Schoolwide PBIS centers on SOAR, Safety, Ownership, Acceptance, Respect, reinforced through rallies and restorative practices. Students connect through WEB leaders, Best Buddies, sports, and clubs like Makerspace, Math and Science Olympiad, Choir, and Color Guard. It is a place where students are known, supported, and steadily challenged.
