Bret Harte Middle School

Bret Harte Middle School builds a community around Connection, Empowerment, Joy, Safety, and Responsibility, pairing strong core academics with creative pathways that help students find their voice. Students engage in music through Performing Band, Orchestra, and Guitar, and they can also connect through athletics in OAL sports and student leadership opportunities. Schoolwide systems support organization and progress, with Schoology used for grades, assignments, and course communication, updated regularly so students and families can stay aligned. Academic recognition includes an Honor Roll based on grade point average, and conferences support students who need additional help staying on track. Student voice and belonging are strengthened through a Wellness Center, student council and leadership, and positive incentives like Bobcat Bucks and the student store.
