Description

George G. Dodge Intermediate School serves fourth, fifth, and sixth graders in a grade level community of about 900 students. Built with classrooms, an auditorium, a cafeteria, and later two gyms and locker rooms, the campus supports active learning and performances. Teachers use cross curriculum instruction, Project Based Learning, and Blended Learning to build strong reading, math, science, and social studies foundations. A full service library media center and dedicated Tiger Tech support help students research, create, and present with confidence. Students learn healthy choices through DARE lessons, and the Wellness Center provides a safe space for development, wellness, and emotional health. The school is a Purple Star Award recipient with a School to Watch designation and a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports PBIS Silver Award recipient. We are proud to grow capable learners and caring classmates.
