Tappan Middle School offers a globally minded program built on the International Baccalaureate continuum, with the Middle Years Programme guiding inquiry, writing, and interdisciplinary projects. Students strengthen language and culture through the International Spanish Academy Program, while core classes use clear learning targets and regular Northwest Evaluation Association checks to set goals and track growth. Beyond the classroom, students can join Robotics Club, Math Olympiad, Chess Club, Writing Club, Art Club, Tinker and Tech Club, and Band and Orchestra Practice Club, plus Homework Club and tutoring for steady support. After school athletics include cross country, field hockey, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track, soccer, baseball, and softball, building teamwork and resilience. It is a place where curiosity and effort are noticed and celebrated every day.
