Rising Starr Middle School

Rising Starr Middle School creates engaging learning experiences that unite academic excellence, creativity, and student growth. As the first school to pilot the districtwide Community for Creativity model, the school helps students apply classroom knowledge through original ideas, hands on projects, and solutions to real community needs. Students extend their learning through Academic Quiz Bowl, Book Club, Chess Club, athletics, and other organizations that develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and confidence. The school prepares learners to become effective communicators, creative problem solvers, collaborators, resilient individuals, productive citizens, and lifelong learners.
