Cyril B Busbee Creative Arts Academy

Cyril B Busbee Creative Arts Academy serves grades 6 through 8 with an arts magnet program that blends strong academics with daily creative work. Students build skills in band, chorus, dance, theatre, strings, guitar, visual arts, and creative writing, and many choose the Performing Arts Company, where auditions place students in acting, singing, and dance majors for year long instruction and showcases. Classroom learning is supported by collaborative teacher teams, school counseling lessons, and an arts infused approach that helps students practice critique, revision, and confident presentation. Signature events such as concerts, district art shows, and celebrations of heritage give students authentic stages for their work and leadership. It is a place where effort, artistry, and scholarship are celebrated every day, and families are valued partners in that journey.
