Black River Middle School serves a diverse student population of over 600 learners who thrive in a professional and academically rigorous environment. Our commitment to the whole child is anchored in specific social emotional programs such as the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports framework and our daily Advisory sessions which focus on building resilience and empathy. These initiatives ensure every student feels supported while developing essential life skills for future success. Academically, Black River Middle School is recognized for outstanding middle school programs including our award winning STEM labs and a comprehensive Career and Technical Education department that encourages hands on learning. Students engage in high level inquiry through accelerated math tracks and immersive technology courses that prepare them for the challenges of high school.
