Description

Chapin Middle School builds strong scholars through a structured middle grades program that blends rigorous core classes with standout electives. School counselors guide goal setting, career awareness, and Character Education Words of the Month. Students stretch in math and science and can test their problem solving on the Mock MathCounts team, while language arts emphasizes close reading, writing workshops, and research. The arts are a proud tradition, with Band, Orchestra, Chorus, and Drama offering performances and competition experiences. Leadership and service grow through Student Council, Beta Club, Quiz Bowl, Science Club, Creative Writing Club, and FCA. A clear culture of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports reinforces Respectful, Responsible, Remarkable habits, and students earn Eagle Cash to celebrate positive choices. Families can feel confident their child will be known, supported, and challenged each day.
