Description
Fort Couch Middle School supports grades 7 and 8 through heterogeneously grouped academic teams that encourage interdisciplinary projects and strong student teacher connections. A 6 day rotation includes guidance class with teaching counselors who address organization, relationships, and decision making. The day ends with a Student Activity period that opens time for team events, extra help, and creative work. Expressive arts include band, chorus, and orchestra, with opportunities to compose, study instrument families, and connect music to science concepts. Students can join intramurals and after school sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, track, and softball. Partnerships with support staff and community resources strengthen learning and wellbeing. Families value the respectful culture and the steady push toward excellence.
