Description

Union Middle School creates a dynamic middle level experience through interdisciplinary teams that bring English language arts, math, science, and social studies teachers together to support students and connect learning across subjects. Students explore a wide range of electives, including Coding, Robotics, Marine Biology, Tiger Talk TV, Spanish, Design Thinking, Money Matters, Leadership, visual arts, and music. Advanced math opportunities include Math IM1 for eighth grade students, while academic clinics, homework clubs, and resource support help learners build confidence and skills. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports strengthens school culture through the ROAR expectations of Responsibility, Organization, Positive Attitude, and Respect. Band, choir, theater, athletics, clubs, and service learning provide additional ways for students to discover interests and develop leadership. Union Middle School is a spirited community where curiosity, creativity, connection, and growth are celebrated every day.
