Vaca Pena Middle School

Vaca Pena Middle School offers a focused middle grades experience built on strong academics, supportive relationships, and electives that help students discover new interests. College and career readiness is strengthened through AVID 7, AVID 8, and AVID Excel, with an AVID coordinator supporting students as they build organization, inquiry, and academic confidence. Students can personalize learning through electives such as art, career discovery, exploring Spanish, yearbook, and leadership, creating real opportunities for creativity and student voice. The music program adds another pathway through choir and orchestra, where students practice performance skills, teamwork, and persistence. With clear routines and many ways to belong, Vaca Pena Middle School helps students grow into capable learners and thoughtful leaders.
