Description

Mountain View Middle School combines strong academics in grades 5 through 8 with a schedule built for both challenge and support. Students follow a seven block day with daily math English language arts science and social studies plus two Related Arts blocks that rotate through Spanish physical education performing arts visual arts industrial arts and technology. The R.O.A.R. block reinforces learning through extension projects supplementary instruction independent reading advisory lessons and town hall community meetings. Students can pursue band chorus or orchestra and choose electives like Ceramics Photography School Broadcasting Film and Audio Production Woodworking for the 21st Century and Robotics. Academic growth is guided by benchmark tools such as LinkIt IXL and CommonLit and students benefit from Den Hour homework support. A trusted adult survey advisory mentorship and service learning partnerships such as Americas Grow a Row and CASA help every student feel known and supported.
