Students can explore electives in robotics, multimedia, art, music, financial literacy, debate, medical detectives, and Spanish, while WEB and Student Council give students meaningful ways to build voice and confidence. Identity affirming spaces such as Black Student Union and Future Black Educator Club, along with the BLAST partnership, add mentoring, goal setting, and college visits to the student experience. Support systems include before and after school tutoring, i Ready, Tutor.com, CCR classes, and the ENLACE program for newcomer and multilingual learners. Co teaching classrooms and restorative practices strengthen inclusion and belonging. Jefferson Leadership Academy feels energetic, purposeful, and warmly committed to student success.
