Col. John Ensor Middle School

John Ensor Middle School builds college and career readiness with an AVID program that teaches WICOR strategies for writing inquiry collaboration organization and reading across classes. Students get targeted academic support through RTI, plus steady goal setting through counseling lessons aligned to ASCA and Texas standards. Each 9 weeks the Honor Roll Assembly celebrates growth and strong habits. Enrichment is wide ranging with Robotics, UIL academics, student council, National Junior Honor Society, and a Gifted and Talented Literary Anthology that showcases student voice. Fine arts options include theater, band, choir, orchestra, and guitar, giving performers multiple ways to shine. Athletics add energy with football, volleyball, basketball, cross country, soccer, baseball, softball, and track. It is a campus where students feel known supported and proud of their progress.
