Wayne Ruble Middle School creates a strong middle level experience built around academic achievement, leadership, and belonging. The schools four Houses of Leadership provide a structure for building relationships, encouraging teamwork, and developing student voice across the campus. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports reinforces a respectful and inclusive culture and has earned Wayne Ruble recognition as a California PBIS Silver School. The school has also earned California Schools to Watch recognition three times, in 2019, 2022, and 2025, reflecting sustained excellence in academics, developmental responsiveness, and social equity.
