Description

Mineola Middle School serves grades 5 through 7 with an academically purposeful program built around an Integrated Curriculum that connects English language arts, science, social studies, and geography through essential questions, design thinking, and performance based applications of knowledge. Students use middle school playbooks for weekly planning, goal setting, and progress monitoring, with standards aligned scales and scoreboards that help learners track growth and take ownership. The 50 50 bilingual Spanish program offers instruction in major content areas in both languages. Fine and performing arts include chorus, band, orchestra, and a 7th grade Digital Music Exploration course, plus Jazz Band, Treble Makers, and chamber ensemble. National Junior Honor Society, National Junior Art Honor Society, and National History Day add strong enrichment. Families can expect a warm, steady culture where learning and character grow side by side.
