Description

Emerson Middle School builds confident learners through a clear routine of advisory, interdisciplinary teaching teams, and goal setting conferences that help students track progress each quarter. Core classes emphasize close reading, evidence based writing, and problem solving math, while science labs and a STEM makerspace support robotics, coding, and engineering design challenges. Students can join band, choir, theater, and visual arts, and electives include world language, digital media, and health. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports and restorative practices guide a calm campus where expectations are taught, reinforced, and reflected on daily. After school options add tutoring, clubs, and athletics that strengthen teamwork and time management. The media center anchors research projects, and student leadership plans service days and assemblies. Families find a staff that listens, celebrates growth, and keeps learning joyful.
