Description

William D Slider Middle School builds strong academic habits in grades 6 through 8 through AVID tutorials and goal setting, Pre AP core classes, and high school credit options such as Algebra 1, Spanish 1 and 2, and Speech. Students explore design and engineering in Project Lead The Way Gateway to Technology, and Gifted and Talented learners extend projects with deeper research and presentations. National Junior Honor Society recognizes service and scholarship, while the award winning band program offers Honor Band, Jazz Band, and Symphonic Band for musicians ready to grow. Clubs and team activities include archery and Synergi4 leadership, supported by steady routines and clear expectations. Teachers meet in weekly professional learning communities to review data and plan targeted instruction. We are proud to celebrate every student effort and achievement.
