Description

Fitz Intermediate Language Academy is a proud California Community School and Computer Science Academy where student wellness, equity, and achievement guide daily learning. Its dual language and language academy model gives students a distinctive middle grades experience, with the Dual Language Immersion pathway offering multiple periods of Spanish instruction each day and history and science taught in Spanish as students build toward the California State Seal of Biliteracy. Electives such as AVID, journalism, advanced computer science, art, music, and ASB give students meaningful ways to lead and grow. Falcon Focus provides weekly time for social emotional learning and student voice, while No Place for Hate activities, the StopIt app, and the ASPIRE Wellness Room strengthen safety and belonging. Fitz Intermediate Language Academy feels inclusive, joyful, and deeply focused on student success.
