Castelar Street Elementary

Castelar Street Elementary School serves students in grades TK through 8, creating a middle grades experience shaped by cultural richness, student leadership, and strong academic support. Students follow a structured seven period day and explore engaging opportunities such as Mandarin language and culture courses, a pen pal partnership, and an annual field experience that broaden their global perspective. Creativity and collaboration grow through eSports, Pentathlon, Yearbook, and Art, while Middle School Student Council gives students a meaningful voice in campus life. Student leaders even organize and facilitate schoolwide events, including election assemblies. Layered academic supports include differentiated instruction, afterschool intervention, and access to on demand tutoring.
