Description
Buena Park Middle School is a California Distinguished School 2024 serving grades 6 through 8 with a strong focus on academic growth and student passion. Students take seven periods with two elective classes and can shape a personalized schedule through signature programs such as AVID, STEM, CTE, and honors level courses. The elective program is especially rich, offering art and advanced art, band and advanced band, choir, orchestra, percussion drumline, robotics and advanced robotics, computer science coding, computer aided design, culinary arts and advanced culinary arts, journalism, leadership, Spanish, study skills, applied arts, and FFA ag science and horticulture, plus the Femineer program. Students can also participate in after school sports and the ASES after school program that provides academic support and enrichment at no cost to families. Families can count on a school culture that helps students build skills confidence and pride every day.
