Westview Middle School

Westview Middle School blends strong academics with a true middle level model built on teams and student teacher progression, where core teachers stay with students from grade 6 through grade 8 to deepen relationships and support. An 8 period schedule adds Core X and STEM Block for targeted MTSS support, flexible reading groups, math gap closing, and Challenge Classes for gifted learners, alongside hands on learning like robotics builds and fingerprinting labs. Students track growth with iReady benchmarks and show learning through presentations, projects, and digital tools in a 1 to 1 iPad environment. Electives include band, orchestra, choir, Spanish, ceramics, cybersecurity, game design, and robotics, with VEX state championship success. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports highlights PAWS and 7 Mindsets with restorative practices. Families can expect a steady, caring culture that keeps students learning and thriving.
