Tri West Middle School pairs strong academics with a student centered schedule that includes seven forty nine minute classes and an eighteen minute PRIDE homeroom focused on Positive Relationships in Developing Excellence. Grade level teams study English, math, science, social studies, and Health and Wellness, with honors options and eighth grade chances to earn high school credit in Algebra, Biology, and Spanish. Students build skills through iReady diagnostics, ILEARN readiness checks, and small group support in Success class, plus MTSS team problem solving, Friday School work sessions, and peer tutoring through National Honor Society and FFA partners. OpenSciEd science brings lab rich investigation, while Smekens writing strategies and the RACE model strengthen literacy across classes. Athletics, robotics, drama, Student Council, NJHS, Bruin Buddy, and a Renaissance recognition system help every student feel seen. It is a place where effort and growth are celebrated every day.
