Rachel Carson Middle School creates a rigorous and caring learning environment where students grow through innovation, collaboration, and meaningful support. The engineering program features Engineering with Empathy projects that challenge students to design practical solutions for people in need. Science Olympiad competitors have earned top placements at state and national events, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and scientific thinking, and the school earned national recognition for its comprehensive counseling program. Students also transformed part of the campus into a pollinator garden and outdoor classroom by planting more than 1200 native plants through the Revitalize, Restore, Replant program. A Distinguished Purple Star designation reflects strong support for military connected families.
