Description

Harold E. Winkler Middle School develops globally minded learners through its Academy for International Studies and International Baccalaureate World School program. Students in grades six through eight engage in rigorous inquiry, collaboration, communication, and reflection while connecting classroom learning to international perspectives and authentic challenges. A state of the art performing arts center supports music, theater, and creative expression, while two gymnasiums provide space for athletics, wellness, and schoolwide activities. Student Support Services, Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, and the Positivity Project strengthen well being, character, and belonging. Teachers maintain high expectations while providing responsive guidance that helps each learner grow academically and personally. Harold E.
