Description

Twin Rivers Charter School is a Schools to Watch redesignating campus where a strong PLC culture and whole child support are built into the week. Students learn in a seven period day with a daily WIN block for Whatever I Need, offering timely tier 2 help or enrichment based on exit tickets and formative checks, plus Extra Learning Time after school for tutoring and tier 3 support. Sixth grade uses two 100 minute core blocks for ELA and history and math and science, with an A B rotation for PE and beginning band that gives every student a full year of music. Seventh and eighth graders choose electives like choir and theater, intermediate or advanced band, leadership, STEAM, forensics, zoology, and teachers assistant. A weekly Advocacy class anchors SEL with check ins restorative circles wellness and digital citizenship, and the new WEB program builds a confident transition into middle school. Families can expect a calm purposeful community where students grow into responsible engaged learners.
