Hollencrest Middle School

Hollencrest Middle School supports strong learning and student well being through a six period day with consistent collaboration time for teachers each week. Students take core classes in English language arts math science social science and physical education plus an elective that includes interest options and English language development. Academic pathways include honors English language arts starting in sixth grade accelerated math and STEM science in seventh grade with a blocked period for cross curricular project based learning and an eighth grade honors math sequence that can earn ninth grade math credit. Electives and arts are a highlight with beginning band choir acting technical theater speech and debate robotics art yearbook ASB and digital art using tools like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Students find support through a tutoring hub AVID schoolwide WICOR strategies directed studies and a new wellness center. Connection is built through peer mediation W E L N E S Renaissance recognition athletics cheer jazz band robotics Science Olympiad and PTSA events.
