Carmenita Middle School creates a strong seventh and eighth grade experience through rigorous academics, student recognition, and a lively campus culture. Students are supported through the Distinguished Scholars program, FLEX opportunities, mental health resources, a student planner, library lunch reservations, and access to grades through Aeries. The school highlights core learning in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, social sciences, physical education, and electives, while journalism students bring school news to life through the daily Carmenita TV broadcast. After school sports and activities include girls volleyball, softball, track, basketball, boys flag football, boys basketball, boys track, and boys soccer, with eligibility tied to citizenship and academic growth. Carmenita is a spirited Cougar community where students are encouraged to participate, achieve, and take pride in learning.
