Description
Del Mar Middle School is a vibrant learning community for students in grades 6 7 and 8 where academic excellence, student voice, and meaningful relationships shape each day. Recognized as a California Distinguished Middle School and a national School to Watch, Del Mar offers strong core instruction in English, social science, math, science, and physical education, along with rich electives in art, drama, music, computer science, engineering, speech and debate, leadership, robotics, and Spanish. Students grow through advisory, social justice advisory activities, inquiry based learning, project based learning, and hands on experiences that make learning active and relevant. Athletics including cross country, flag football, volleyball, basketball, golf, and track and field build teamwork and school pride.
