Description
Decker Middle School serves grades 6 7 8 with a focus on strong reading writing math and science instruction supported by an organized campus routine. Students can choose AVID as an elective for tutorials note taking organization and goal setting that builds college and career readiness habits. Fine arts are a highlight, with Visual Art aligned to TEKS and featuring 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional work in watercolor pencil charcoal paint and clay. The Raven Bands perform at concerts pep assemblies and sporting events and also compete in UIL and TMEA contests. Theatre Arts offers performance and production experiences and the One Act Play program has earned championship recognition in recent years. Families can expect caring adults high expectations and plenty of chances for students to shine.
