Jonata Middle School creates a close knit experience where every child is known by name and relationships form the foundation for learning. Students are supported through a sixth period Flex class that uses iReady, CAASPP, and teacher input to provide targeted intervention or enrichment. The BEST in the Valley framework reinforces pride, empathy, perseverance, and student ownership, while trimester celebrations bring recognition and joy to campus life. Students explore rotating electives such as Real Life Ready, Sustainability and Agriculture, Flight and Space, and Music Exploration, connecting learning to future pathways and real world interests. Student Council, peer mediation, service learning, sports, Math Superbowl, county spelling bee, Space Camp, theater, and field trips add rich opportunities to belong and shine.
