Ben F Kolb Middle School delivers a full middle grades program with six daily periods, Breakfast in the Classroom, and strong core classes in English, math, science, and social studies, plus honors options and Math 1 for acceleration. Students shape their own pathway through electives like robotics, esports in a dedicated lab, art, computers, band, choir, strings, leadership, yearbook, game theory, and beginning speech. AVID and AVID Excel build college readiness and academic language for multilingual scholars, while English Literacy using Read 180 and Math Numeracy provide targeted support. A Tutoring Center, online Varsity Tutors, bootcamps, and summer session extend learning beyond the bell. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, Second Step, a Wellness Center, WEB, JROTC, Junior Black Achievers, and Los Pumas strengthen belonging.
