March Middle School

March Middle School delivers a strong middle grades experience built around a schoolwide FLEX period that runs four days a week for targeted intervention and enrichment. Sixth graders learn in supportive blocks with one teacher for math and science and another for English language arts and history plus physical education and an elective wheel that rotates every six weeks. Seventh and eighth graders take core classes daily with electives and PE and students can choose advanced options in subjects they want to strengthen. A robust culture of recognition celebrates students for the MARCH characteristics Motivated Academic Respectful Caring Honest through programs like March Cards Maverick of the Month PAAC honor roll and the Model Maverick ceremony. Students explore interests through AVID Cadet Corps STEAM and visual and performing arts including band choir art yearbook and robotics plus clubs and athletics. Daily ELD supports multilingual learners and a tiered special education continuum includes RSP SDC life skills and autism programs.
