Description

Macopin Middle School supports students through a purposeful middle grades program that blends academic preparation, character, service, and connection. The Macopin Program of Studies is paired with guidance and school counseling structures that help learners plan for success and make thoughtful choices. Students can participate in the Thomas A Kraft Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society, where scholarship, leadership, character, service, and citizenship are emphasized. Peer Tutoring gives students support during AF, after school with Macopin tutors, and with high school National Honor Society tutors. A rich activity culture includes Student Council, Yearbook Club, Macopin Mentors, Peer Tutor, Give a Goat Night, Rockathon, MACC Club, Giving Tree, Angel Project, intramural sports, school play, chorus, band, and clubs. Macopin is a caring school community where students grow with confidence, character, and purpose.
