Description
Specialist Rafael Hernando III Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 with a clear focus on strong literacy, math, science, and social studies learning aligned to TEKS. Teachers use standards based instruction, common assessments, and Eduphoria data reviews in collaboration teams to target small group reteach, tutoring, and enrichment. Students build confidence through hands on STEM learning, including engineering challenges in Texas Mobile STEM Labs, and many learners strengthen reading growth through Read 180 supports. As a Purple Star Designated School, the campus provides structures that support military connected students and families. Athletics offers opportunities such as cross country, basketball, cheerleading, and more to develop teamwork and school pride.
