Description

SOROCO Middle School provides a close knit learning environment where students build academic skills, confidence, and responsibility. Core instruction is complemented by agriscience, Career and Technical Education, athletics, and activities that connect classroom learning with practical experiences. Students begin exploring future pathways through Individual Career and Academic Planning and receive guidance as they prepare for the transition to high school. Teachers collaborate to address individual needs, maintain high expectations, and help learners develop perseverance, communication, and problem solving skills. The combined middle and high school setting supports continuity, strong relationships, and access to broader educational opportunities. School traditions and community partnerships further strengthen belonging and encourage students to contribute with purpose. SOROCO is a supportive community where students are known, challenged, and encouraged to pursue promising futures.
