Description

Barrington Middle School Prairie Campus supports grades 6 through 8 with a strong academic core and clear structures for help and enrichment. Students can build confidence through English Drop In and Math Drop In, and sixth graders can join F.L.A.G.S. Friends Learning and Giving Support for guided study and peer mentoring. Creativity and performance shine in exploratory art and drama, plus Drama Club, School Play and Musical, and a busy band program with Jazz Band and Pep Band. Students also find community in Robotics, Chess Club, Spelling Bee, Student Council, Yearbook Club, NJHS, Art Club, and SOMOS, and the Snowflake program builds healthy peer relationships and decision making. It is a place where students are known, challenged, and celebrated each day.
