Description

Pleasant Valley School serves students in grades four through six with a strong balance of academic focus, character development, and hands on learning. A structured schedule and intentional supports help every student access rigorous instruction, while reading and math specialists provide targeted intervention that keeps learning responsive and personal. Students also explore enrichment through Innovations and Design, music, and art, with design classes bringing creativity and problem solving to life through real world challenges such as egg drop prototypes with local firefighters and statewide STEAM Tank competitions. Character is central to the school experience through the Explorer of Character program, a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports based system focused on being kind, responsible, and safe. Student Council, Safety Patrol, service projects, Caught You Cards, morning meetings, and Explorer of Character Breakfasts create a connected community where students grow with confidence, purpose, and pride.
