Description
Franklin Avenue Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 with strong core classes that emphasize critical thinking and independent learning, supported by Patriot Period for tiered instruction and targeted help. Students rotate through exploratory learning in world languages, art, technology, music, and chorus, and many also take STEM courses that integrate engineering design with science and math. Academic Intervention provides focused support in English language arts, mathematics, or both when students need an extra boost. Beyond the classroom, students can join Academic Competition Squad, Math Competition Club, Chess Club, Book Club, Art Club, Cubing Club, Environmental Club, Diversity Club, National Junior Honor Society, Jazz Band, and the FAMS Musical. The school experience feels purposeful, creative, and steady, with adults who know students well and celebrate growth every day.
