Description
Desert Meadows Elementary School has thoughtfully reshaped its middle grades program around purposeful structure, meaningful relationships, and real opportunities for choice. A mixed grade advisory program anchors campus life through weekly reflection sheets, one on one check ins, small group conversations, and friendly advisory competitions that help students build relationships and know they have a trusted adult. The redesigned schedule allows students to move through classes in a true middle school style, supporting stronger peer connections and more dynamic learning. Electives make the experience especially memorable, with 3D Printing, Python Coding, Robotics, Lego Stop Motion, Game Development, Minecraft Coding with Python, Podcasting, Gardening, Video Announcements, Digital Art, Band, and Textile Arts. Student Council, Paw to Paw mentoring, Spooktacular, and the Winter Craft Festival add energy and belonging. Desert Meadows is a lively, caring school where students grow with confidence and curiosity.
