Las Flores Home Education Independent Study Academy

Las Flores Home Education Independent Study Academy creates a small, caring, and academically challenging program where students grow through a flexible independent study model. Its multi age structure allows students to accelerate or receive support as needed, while teachers work closely with families through regular conferences and collaboration. Students benefit from a blend of home based learning and in person opportunities, including three days a week of structured instruction in the core program and Enrichment Fridays with STEAM and visual and performing arts experiences offered in person and virtually. Guitar, ukulele, music, gardening, pottery, and woodworking add creative pathways for exploration. As a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports Platinum school, Las Flores also uses restorative practices, student leadership, Capturing Kids Hearts, PAWS recognition, student council, and ASB to strengthen belonging. Las Flores feels personal, flexible, and warmly connected to student growth.
