Canon-McMillan Middle School

Canon-McMillan Middle School supports middle grade learners with a strong academic core and a practical focus on skills for high school and beyond. Students study English language arts, math, science, and social studies in structured teams that align assignments, common assessments, and intervention blocks for extra help or enrichment. STEM learning is highlighted through Project Lead the Way style engineering challenges, coding activities, and lab based science investigations. A dedicated advisory period builds organization, goal setting, and digital citizenship, while counseling lessons support social emotional growth. The arts are active with band, chorus, and visual art, and students can join clubs, athletics, and leadership groups.
