Description

Vineyard Junior High School follows a six period schedule with 55 minute classes and an optional zero period, giving students space to add an elective while staying anchored in a full core program. Students can access accelerated pathways and build confidence through electives that emphasize creativity, performance, and applied learning, including strong opportunities in music and theatre. For families looking ahead, the world language pathway begins with introductory Spanish and can progress to Spanish I for students ready for advanced rigor. Students also develop problem solving skills through STEM and computer science experiences that emphasize hands on projects. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports shapes daily life with clear expectations around being respectful, responsible, and relational, paired with recognition systems and student supports that help every learner stay connected. Sixth graders also begin with Viking Vision, which helps students start the year feeling prepared and included.
