Description

Granite Ridge Intermediate School challenges seventh and eighth grade students through rigorous academics, diverse electives, and meaningful opportunities for involvement. AVID strengthens organization, inquiry, collaboration, and college readiness, while Academic Block provides focused support for individual learning needs. Students explore their interests through drama, choral music, film studies, visual arts, Teen Living, yearbook, leadership, peer counseling, and Introduction to Education. Instrumental music includes concert bands, string ensembles, orchestra, jazz, percussion, and chamber performances. An alternating block schedule supports deeper learning, while Bronco Lunch Tutorial offers additional academic assistance. Athletics, clubs, CJSF, academic teams, and student leadership encourage wellness, service, friendship, and school pride. Granite Ridge is a spirited community where every Bronco can discover strengths, build lasting connections, and pursue excellence with confidence.
