Vista View Middle School is a redesignating Schools to Watch campus where students learn in a structured six period day with daily advisement that builds belonging and supports social emotional growth. Sixth graders are cored with consistent ELA, social studies, and math and science teachers, plus a separate lunch to ease the transition into middle school. Students choose from high interest electives that connect learning to real skills, including robotics, culinary arts, esports, mariachi, dance, media tech, and yearlong band and string orchestra, with options for Algebra and Geometry pathways as students are ready. A weekly MTSS team coordinates academic, behavioral, and mental health supports, including the Falcons Nest wellspace and counseling through SocialWise, while Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports is strengthened through PBIS Rewards and Falcon PRIDE celebrations.
