Description

William Mendenhall Middle School provides a strong middle level experience built around academic achievement, student leadership, and meaningful support. Shared leadership between administrators and the instructional leadership team helps maintain high expectations for every learner. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports guides students through the expectations of being safe, responsible, and respectful, while social emotional learning and a Multi Tiered System of Support address academic, behavioral, and personal needs. Students can explore band, orchestra, vocal music, art, woodshop, journalism, Spanish, STEM, leadership, and yearbook, along with athletics and student clubs. Inclusive leadership opportunities encourage students to participate actively in their school community. Mendenhall has earned Schools to Watch recognition and a 2025 Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports Gold Implementation Award.
