Description
Southridge Tech Middle School combines academic rigor, technology, creativity, and student support through the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme. Inquiry based learning helps students connect subjects, investigate meaningful questions, and develop global perspectives. AVID strengthens writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and college readiness, while MYP Design courses engage students in coding, robotics, application development, 3D printing, and the design cycle. Electives include choir, beginning and advanced band, orchestra, visual art, theater arts, yearbook, and cybersecurity. Integrated Coding and Computing blends mathematics with programming and simulated robotics, while targeted mathematics, English Language Arts, and Academic Language Development courses provide additional support. Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports promotes responsibility and belonging.
